Thankful on Paper {Week 1}

"Silent gratitude isn't much use to anyone."
~ G.B. Stern ~
Today, I begin participating in Thankful on Paper.  It's all about being grateful for the people in our lives who bless us....and then actually taking the time to tell them!

Yesterday, I mailed off a letter to my sister, Kathie.
We are sisters by birth, but friends by choice.
She was my companion and partner-in-crime.  We drove each other crazy during our junior high and high school years, but came out on the the other side, closer than ever.  Now, she's the one I call when I need to "vent" or when I'm just in the mood to chat.

Thanks, Kathie, for being both my sister AND my friend.

A cheesy "sister pic" from our family vacation last summer.

"O give thanks to the LORD, for He is good;
For His loving kindness is everlasting."
1 Chronicles 16:34

I'm linking up at Rachel's Number 17 blog today, for Thankful on Paper.

    I never had a sister, but always wondered what it would be like.
