Today was a wonderful, wonderful day. It started out normal enough that the "wonderfulness" of the day slipped in under my radar. But as the day drew to a close and Hubby and I were tucking in the girls, I realized that today had been pretty fantastic.
It was a quintessential summer day. The sun was shinning. The weather was gorgeous. We spend the afternoon splashing in the pool and the evening on the patio, laughing and talking. The kids ran and played in the yard until nine o'clock, and even then declared, "We don't want to go to bed!"
Hubby proclaimed this the best Father's Day yet. As the old song goes, "Who could ask for anything more?"
Not me!
Carefree Summer days...there's nothing better than spending the day playing and winding down as the sun sets...I bet you all slept very well and made memories that will last forever! Sounds like it was the perfect Father's Day...for all of you!
