Easter - Oh Glorious Day!

What a wonderful Easter weekend!
We spent our time with family and friends,
remembering and rejoicing in the hope of Easter!

Here's a look at what made our Easter so wonderful...

On Good Friday, we made Resurrection Rolls.
(There are many variations -- we used this recipe.)

Reading the Easter story from John 19
Preparing the rolls:
 The marshmallow, representing Jesus' body,
is wrapped in the crescent roll (cloth).

Placing the rolls in the "tomb"

The marshmallow is gone!

Amazing!  Jesus is not here!  He has risen!

We also colored Easter Eggs:

Easter Sunday:

All dressed up for church!

 Hunting for Easter eggs.

Our weekend was almost too fabulous for words!

One final thought:
This day is full of such hope because
God's not dead - no!  He is alive!
(a little peak at our Children's Easter Program)
