marking passage after passage.
It's been a while since a book spoke so clearly to my heart.
That book is You're Already Amazing by Holley Gerth.
As the book begins, Holley describes sitting with a friend in a coffee shop, preparing to tell a piece of valuable information. We're allowed to listen in as Holley imparts these words to her friend:
"It's time you knew you're amazing."

How many of us truly embrace these words in our lives? Throughout her book, Holley encourages women to grab a hold of this truth...of God's good plans for our lives...and of the hope that comes from believing this message.
She tell us that when we say, "I'm not enough,"
God says, "In me you are so much more."
She reminds us that as we search for the illusive state of perfection,
we can only find completeness in Christ.
She speaks words of truth, straight from God's heart, about our worth, value, and strength:
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. Psalm 139:14
His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. 2 Peter 1:3
I can do all this through him who gives me strength. Philippians 4:13
The entire book reads like a conversation, a chat between friends. By the end, I could almost picture myself sitting at the local coffee shop, sipping my mocha and listening to Holley speak truth over my life. This book is written in an easy-to-read style, filled with wonderful tools. I highly recommend that you check it out and read more wonderful-ness from Holley at her blog, Heart to Heart with Holley.
Let me leave you with one of my favorite quotes from the book:
I'm slowly learning it's not about being perfect but about being perfectly loved.
Disclosure: I was given a copy of this book for review purposes.
